Likely story. :hmm:

;)

Get to work and give us the stories on the Mighty A's!!!!!

Is Barry Zito going to have a great season after a bit of a rough outing his first time out?

Is Crosby's substitute going to come through with flying colors and make his manager look brilliant for giving Scuturo a chance at short?

Will Harang continue to pitch out of his mind?

Is Chavez living up to his billing as the team leader?

Inquisitive minds are waiting

If you ask me, Chavez is a bust. He is not special. I keep waiting for him to break out. When will it happen?

Uh, Timber, when I said Eric, I meant our won "Chisox73". :laff:

I think Chavez is just fine and just doesn't get a ton of press.

Chavez is off to a really slow start to say the least.Wednesday night,he got his 1st hit of the year w/RISP.It scored 2 runs.

The problem with the A's right now is thier offense as a whole. You only have 1 player hitting above .300(Marco Scutaro at .302),and 2 others hitting above .280 in Mark Kotsay(.292) and Scott Hatteberg(.284)

This offense will break out eventually. But you also have to like the jobs that Rich Harden and Joe Blanton have done so far.Blanton may be 0-2 with a 1.75 ERA.But can you say "lack of run support?"
