If Rockies CF Preston Wilson continues hitting, he could prove attractive to the Braves, Cubs and Nationals. The Rockies always have liked Braves 2B Marcus Giles and could offer 2B Aaron Miles in addition to Wilson. The Braves likely would balk--trading Giles would negate any attempt to upgrade their offense. . . .

WHAT THE F*#K!!!!!!!!

WHY DO YOU HATE GOOD YOUNG SECOND BASEMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You trade Todd Walker for NOTHING!!!! You trade Mark Bellhorn for NOTHING!!!!! You trade Ronnie Belliard for NOTHING!!!!! And now you want to trade one of the best up and coming guys this team has!!!!!!!!!! I know that we have some great guys coming up in the minors but COME ON!!!!!!!!! Trading Preston and Miles for Giles!!!!!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!! If this goes down I will be wishing for this team to lose every freaking game until they march your dumb butt out of town and you can take your lap dog hurdle with you to!!!!!

Hell why not just trade Miles for a 16 round draft pick at least we might get some better player than you have delt for in the past.

Why should we trade Wilson? Let's give him an extension. He is a very good player and he is a great leader.

Yes Vin Giles is a great hitter. But Wilson is a great hitter and a perfect fit for Coors field. A CF that has a great arm and can cover ton of ground. A CF isnt worth a 2nd baseman in Coors field....

Also Aaron Miles is a good base hitter better defense than Giles ever will (defense is so underrated in todays game) and he doesnt get hurt as much. I wouldnt even want to trade Miles for Giles across the board Vin. Miles should hit for higher Avg and from both sides of the plate. More speed and better fielder.

So to trade both those guys where I dont think Giles is worth one of them is a very bad trade. Preston Wilson will be traded someday soon just because O'Drool wants to get rid of him. That is no secret and has been for the past 2 years. But to trade both these guys for someone that I dont feel is worth one for one deal is BS.

I like Preston and Miles. They better not get traded. Wouldn't surprise me though.

I'm with awefullspellare on this. I agree Shad, that Preston is perfect for Coors and Miles has settled into the Coors infield nicely. I just don't understand what O'Dowd is doing :notme: but then again, maybe he is TRYING to lose! :Pissed:
