View Full Version : Twins offense has been dissapointing

I had a long chat with TC about this yesterday. I really hope this offense don't scuffle like this all year long or else I won't be a very happy camper this year. This year was supposed to be the year that the offense was supposed to break out and carry them to the World Series. I still have faith that it will be done. I am just concerned though like any fan would be. Hopefully, Justin coming back will turn this tide around. Justin's presence can make everyone relax.

This offense is a lot better than this. I hope we can get it going with the runners on scoring position. They are batting .143 with the bases loaded. That has to change. Great teams don't bat like that.

I am hoping when the weather warms up and as the season gets older through the months, things will get better for our hitters

You come out with this thread and the Twins get 9 runs... :D

But the thing is you only need to score one more run than the other team that is it. You still win if the score is 1 to 0 or 15 to 2 you still win and both count the same. Just one more point. ;)

Morneau is heating up, Ford is clutch, and Cuddyer shows signs of ending his slump. It just takes luck for all of it to happen and stay rolling.

I like to think my thread made a difference, but I know better. It's clear though Justin Morneau is our offense. With him out there, he can carry the team by himself and others follow. I think Lew and Michael are now comfortable that they don't have to carry the load with Justin is being back.
