Benitez out 4 months

Originally thought that Armando would only be out 15 days, is now going to be out at least 4 months. :(

He had an MRI today, turns out that he tore not one but two tendons that connect his hamstring to his pelvis and needs surgery to get it fixed.

I saw the play last night where he looked like it was just a simple pull. He was running to cover first and all of a sudden is leg collapsed. He got the final out but at what a cost!

Now what are the Giants going to do? :notme:

Giants might be desperate enough to take on anybody. Although I think Gordon would do better away from Torre and Stottlemeyer.

Milky, I'm sorry what you're going through. I feel bad for Gordon. He is a good pitcher.

But the Giants need a closer and I would hope that Alou and Righetti :love2: would not rely on Brower. :nope:
