With the Baltimore Orioles coming to town this weekend, the focus on this upcoming series will not be Sammy Sosa's return to Chicago and facing a deluge of insults at The Cell. but this weekend will be a true test for the 2 best teams in baseball- the White sox and Orioles.

As much as the Chicago media ws salivating over the return of Sosa, that will not happen as Sammy won't make the trip as he's on the 15-day DL.

The focus will be on how will the Sox fare against a so-called "real team",after feasting on the weak sisters of the AL Central for most of the season. And,how will the O's offense fare against White Sox pitching.

With well over 100,000 tickets sold for the 4-game set beginning Thursday, this should be a raucous weekend on the South Side, with the focus strictly on what takes place on the field.

This should be a good series.

Yeah, it should be!

The game tonight isn't on TV here because the Wizards-Heat game is on instead. :( The rest of the series will be televised, though.

I want to try to go Frday night if there's a ticket available with one of my co-workers.One of his friends in high school was Larry Bigbie, and they're going to hang out downtown after the game.
