Jon Garland went 8 innings allowing 2 runs on 8 hits to go 7-0 on the season.

Garland pitched out of a couple of jams. But none bigger than his strikeout of Miguel Tejada in the 8th inning with the tying run at 3rd to preserve the 3-2 Sox win.

He's pitching great. To hold a great offensive team like that to 8 hits and 2 runs is an amazing job

His control is a lot better so far this season, lets hope it continues

Jon Garland is sick.

He has to be the odds-on favorite to start the ASG at Comerica Park. He has been very good this year. I didn't think anyone even die hard White Sox fans or Jon Garland fans would think he would have that type of start.

Could you imagine if this dude won 30, after like 30-40 years without anyone doing it, and it's some no-name guy?

He would have to virtually win every start without any no-decisions.

N/M, for some reason I thought it was earlier in the season. Even if he won every start, it would really only add up to 27-28 wins.

I calculated and came up with 32 starts for Garland this year. But either way,it would still be impressive. :)
