Actually, I think the question is flawed. In order to decide who you think this year's "Boonie" is, you first need to establish criteria. Here are some suggestions:

1) Needs to be in his first year with the M's, like Boonie was
2) Needs to have been considered good, but never great
3) 32 years old (coincidentally, Cirillo will be 32 for most of the season. His birthday is late September, 1969)

Using all of these, I say Cirillo has the best chance of "being this year's Boonie."

the only flaw in that question was that it had 3 ? at the end, instead of the universally used 1.:ninja:

Why the age rule?

because you cant be boonie if your a different age, then you would be someone else entirely.:freak:

I don't know about this years Boonie, but I do wish you guys good luck with Cirillo. He kinda' got a raw deal here in Colorado, so I hope he does well up there. You definitely got a Gold-Glove caliber guy for the hot corner, and nobody is more intense than he is at the plate...he's almost scary! Good luck!

If you follow my criteria, Cirillo is the logical choice for this year's Boonie.
