RE-BUILDING YEAR
judging by the A's Performance and their losing streak you can come to the conclusion that they are in a re-building year
that and the heart of the roster is on the DL
Crosby
Kiko
Harden
Swisher
All are on a 15-Day DL but that will turn into "after the allstar break DL" :uzi:

That's a shame about Calero. I was really expecting him to have a pretty awesome year out of Oakland's pen. And I saw Harden pitch a couple of years back when he was smokin' it for the Double-A San Antonio team. He's a good one.

I'd really like to see Dotel turn it on for the next 6 to 8 weeks. A's can then trade him for even more ready-to-bloom prospects. If Calero is healthy, I'd have no problem with him as my closer.

i would, Dotel just needs some work, he was dynamite last year...Foulke could've had a bigger year before he got traded but that didnt happen

I think that if Dotel picks it up he WILL be traded, and you could very well see a healthy Kiko closing out games. Of course, that would depend on a healthy Bradford, you could see Chad/Street/Kiko setting up for Kiko/Street. Dotel makes more than a mil per year, he costs too much as it is. hahaha.
