WaMo was hurt by not being able to play a second position. Mackowiack being able to play the same positions plus the OF also hurt Warren. But you can't complain if you give him 15 at bats or so and he hits .150.

I really like Mackoviak though, I think he could be an outstanding utility player....

I agree. Mackowiack can play 5 positions now since he learned to catch and carries a .280 bat. He'll never be able to play every day and maintain the same average, but he has the potential to be a very important part of this team if they ever contend. He's like Keith Lockhart was to the Braves.
