That was a good story. 1997 was an amazing season. That would have been wonderful if they had made the playoffs. Probably would have been a team remembered outside of Pirates fans for a long time.

yeah i remember someone i knew telling me they were within a few games of winning the division i hadnt realized it :biggrin: who knows maybe it will happen again:cool:
