The Brewers haven't hit a grand slam this season. They haven't given one up, either.

If you're wondering when either might happen, June 27 would be a good guess, except that the Brewers are off on that date. The last time the Brewers went this deep into a season without hitting a grand slam was 1999, when Jeromy Burnitz belted one against Pittsburgh's Scott Sauerback on June 27. The last time the Brewers went this long without surrendering a grand slam was 1997, when Bryce Florie gave one up to Kansas City's Jay Bell on, you guessed it, June 27.

Entering play Thursday, the Brewers had 71 at-bats with the bases loaded and produced 14 hits (.197 average), 39 RBI, five walks and two sacrifice flies. They were one of five teams without a grand slam, joined by San Diego, Chicago, Washington and Arizona

Brewers pitchers had allowed three hits in 40 at-bats with the bases loaded (.075).

The Brewers and Pirates are the only teams in the National League who have not allowed a grand slam this season.
