CHARLESTON, WV (June 15, 2005) - The West Virginia Power, Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers have made a few more changes to their roster.
Today right-handed pitcher Forrest Martin and Catcher Nestor Corredor were added to the roster. Both men spent time with the Power earlier this season. To make room for them, right-handed pitcher Robbie Wooley was sent to Helena and catcher Charlie Lozada was released.
Earlier this year Forrest Martin was in the Power rotation. He was 1-4 with a 6.41 ERA over 6 starts before he was sent back to extended spring training on May 9th. Robbie Wooley was 1-5 with a 6.73 ERA in 13 appearances with the Power this season. Charlie Lozada joined the team on May 15th, and hit .149 with 7 RBI in 15 games with the Power.
The Power will finish the first half of the season with a four game series against the Hagerstown Suns at Municipal Stadium in Hagerstown, Maryland. Right-handed pitcher Josh Wahpepah (3-3, 3.53) will throw for the Power, and Hagerstown's starter has not been announced. Game time is set for 7:05 PM.
