Fans at the Huntsville Stars game tonight will get more than they paid for when they walk through the gates.

Tonight is Ready Night at the ballpark as the Stars help promote the Ready campaign of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Minor League Baseball has worked with the agency for the past three years.

"Our clubs are extremely proud to be able to work with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Boy Scouts of America in helping educate Americans on how to better prepare their families in case of a public emergency through the Ready campaign," Mike Moore, president and chief executive officer of Minor League Baseball, said in a news release.

The campaign helps Americans prepare for and respond to potential terrorist attacks and other emergencies.

At tonight's game, the team will broadcast public service announcements and Boy Scouts will distribute "Get Ready Now" brochures.

"The teams' efforts throughout the spring and summer will help remind fans of the simple steps they can take to prepare: Get a kit, make a plan and be informed," Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said in a release.
