<b>Inman leads list of today's signees</b>
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Brewers have reached contract agreement with four of their selections from the just-completed First-Year June Free Agent Draft, it was announced today by Director of Scouting, Jack Zduriencik. No financial terms were disclosed.
Heading the list of signees is righthanded pitcher William Inman who was the 85th overall selection in last week's draft. Inman attended Tunstall High School and is a native of Dry Fork, Va. The six-foot, 200 lb. pitcher owns the record for career strikeouts in Virginia and has been assigned to Helena, the Brewers rookie league in the Pioneer League.
Milwaukee also signed third baseman Michael Bell, Jr. (Grayson CC, Denison, Texas), outfielder Brendan Katin (Univ. of Miami, Miami, Fla.) and another righthanded pitcher, Christopher Jean (Texas State Univ./San Marcos, Texas).
With these signings, the Brewers have agreed to terms with 15 of their 49 selections from the just completed June Free Agent Draft, including five of the top 10 picks.
