It'll be a happy day when Kevin Brown is no longer a Yankee.

Pitsburgh's middle infield is schooling us.

haha...I'm just further emphasizing their abilities. They're the best I've seen in a while. Yes, I meant they were the super duper bestest...

They almost (should have) won them the game with the DP on Sheffield off of Lima's leg. Replays show Sheff was out and that the game should have been over. But then an A-Rod single and a Posada rocket off the wall ties the game. Then Giambi wins it.

I havent seen a second baseman in a very very long time who could turn the DP like Castillo can. On one of the DPs yesterday, he came straight across the bag and kept going.. got well out of the way of the runner... and flipped the ball to second. Not bad for a guy who was a SS until 3 years ago.

That "DP" in the 9th inning was so very very close... I think the call could have gone either way.

He was out. But it was close, and a tough call to make.

How about the one when he came across the bag and made the throw to first as a shortstop would after making a play in the hole going into left field.

yeah.. that is the one i was referring to, I believe. Jack and Jose have been a human highlight reel on the DP the past month or so...

Wow! What a game last night! Good for Giambi. I can't wait to be rid of KEvin Brown. He makes me crazy when he pitches.

Tonights game is looking good so far...4-0!

6-1 Yankees!! :D :D :D :D

Giambi hit a double, now batting .247, going 1-2 with a BB. Cano went 2-4 with a RBI. Jeter 2-4 w/a double. Matsui went deep in the first with Jeter on. Sheff went 1-4 with a 2 run double. And Johnson was fabulous, CG 5H 1ER 0BB 11K 1HR

I love Cano. He just makes up for the fact that we traded Soriano, my favorite Yankee at the time.
