In the July issue of Maxim magazine,White Sox OF/DH Carl Everett sounds off on a few issues.
His take on Wrigley Field-He calls it the worst park in baseball."They need to implode it."
Everett had gay teammates that he accepted,but he says,"Gays being gay is wrong.Two women can't produce a baby,two men can't produce a baby,so it's not how it's supposed to be....I don't believe in gay marriages.I don't believe in being gay."
On baseball fans.He says that "Fan is short for fanatic--he's crazy about something that he really doesn't know about.And it's proven that 99% of baseball fans have no idea what they're watching."
On Jose Canseco;"A bitter,ignorant individual."
On the congressional steroid hearings;"We have a war going on--I have family in that war--yet we're talking abvout steroids...If everyone in the world got on steroids,we'll still lose more kids to the war than we will from steroids."
