Henn will start while Brown heads to DL
Wonder why Torre will start Henn since he got his @$$ whupped by the Devil Rays in his first MLB debut, and gets another chance Monday night :notme:

I tried to look up his stats on the Columbus CLippers site, but couldn't find anything solid. Anyone know how he's doing in AAA this season? (They show his name on the Team, but no listing in the stats section...)

Well if it's not Henn, then who? Sturtze isn't a spot starter anymore.
You can't judge a player on one start. I can barely remember it, but I think Cano made a big error that led to a lot of runs in that start too. Rookies will bring thier share of headaches, but that's what makes them rookies.
RockDog, his AAA numbers are here (http://minorleaguebaseball.com/app/milb/stats/stats.jsp?n=Sean%20Henn&pos=P&sid=milb&t=p_pbp&did=milb&pid=430675).

I'd love to see Sturtze become a starter again, but I guess he is one of the most valuable guys we have.
Anything less then 4 games this series and I won't be satisfied. And then we can sweep the Mets after this, which would make....13 in a row. :D :D :D (Best case scenario)

Thank You.
Looks like he's doing okay. Maybe he won't be as nervous this outing.

Relax....I'm not crazy about him either, but he's made just two major league starts....
I'm not great with mechanics, but I've been reading several discussions about how his mechanics are screwed up against righties. Who knows, maybe he's our LOOGY of the Future.
Either way, he's most likely starting Saturday.

What about Scott Protocor? He pitches better than Henn in Columbus (AAA) :notme:

:)
I checked out his stats and figured, "No problem. Pitching against Tampa Bay is kind of like playing AAA." I couldn't have been more wrong. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse than Kevin Brown (yeah, sure he's had a couple of good games...but he still sucks) along comes this guy Henn. I guess it's a long way from AAA to "The Stadium" and he wasn't ready for the trip. Many pitchers aren't... I'm not looking forward to Saturdays game if he is pitching.
I don't know about his mechanics against righties. I do know that he was able to throw ball after ball with no problem. :D
Oh well...
