White Sox should hire Mark Grace to do their games

If the White Sox want to go make a statement to the Cubs, the people of Chicago and to the Chicago media, they ought to go hire Mark Grace, who is a color analyst for the Diamondbacks telecast. As great as the Sox are playing, they will never be Chicago's team as the Cubs get more attention. If the Sux really are serious about sending a message to the Cubs and to Chicago, hire Mark Grace. That will stick it to the Cubs craw and Chicago media will praise the Sox for that. Grace is bitter about the way the Cubs treated him in the end as they told him to take a hike and went with Hee Seop Choi at first. What better way for Grace to stick it to the Cubs by doing the White Sox games and what better way to the Sox to stick it to the Cubs by hiring the beloved first baseman who used to bleed Cubbie blue. It's a win-win situation for the Sox and their fans. Plus telecast would be better if Hawk Harrelson and Mark Grace work together because it sure isn't going to happen with Hawk and D.J.

It's time for the White Sox to go send a message and start acting like they are serious to be Chicago's top dog team.

Who cares what Hawk thinks? Hawk did not like Tom Paciorek to the point that he got him fired. He hates Darrin Jackson. Who does Hawk exactly like these days anyway? Reinsdorf has to do what's best for the team and what they can do to win the heart of Chicagoans and I feel the first move that they have to do is hire Grace. I was watching D-Backs/White Sox game last week and Grace is talking about how much he misses Chicago. This is a great opportunity for Reinsdorf to stick it to the Cubs IMO by hiring Grace. It's a great business move.

You want to know why Arte Moreno and George are great owners? They seize on opportunities to make great business hire. Moreno does everything he could to take all the ex-Dodgers to his Angels team and George always get the ex-Mets. That's what you call Marketing 101.

Grace needs Chicago. I had a chance to watch the White Sox/Diamondbacks game on FSN Arizona last week and Grace was basically begging for the White Sox job. He talked about how he misses Chicago. How he misses people over there. He talked about how White Sox are knowledgable and passionate. Thom Brennaman had to change the subject and all.

Sox don't need Mark Grace? Let's see ratings for the White Sox game are not very good. Harrelson basically can't stand Jackson as you notice dead air in the telecast a lot. I took public relation course and I had a minor degree in PR. I could see a good PR and White Sox hiring Mark Grace would mean huge PR and ratings. If Arte Moreno or joek own the White Sox, you can bet your money that they would find a way to hire Grace.

I don't hate any broad groups of fans or teams, but when the fans go out of their way to act like children and call my favotire team the "Whiney Sux" from "She-Ca-go" it doesn't really represent the fans of that team in a very positive way.
