yikes. it reached 100 degrees here in chicago today (97 officially at o'hare) but several other readings reached 100 or more in certain areas (like in my neighborhood near the big cooler called lake michigan). with heat indexes reaching 110 or more, its just insanely hot. its still 89 at 9 pm here in kenosha. :ugh:

this is crazy. record heat. :(

got up to like 90 today, but its a lot cooler now that the wind has shifted off the lake (about 78 degrees). tomorrow back to the furnace and 92 degrees. :(

I think it hit 100 here today.

102° right now, could possibly go another degree up between now and 5:30 (CT) or so. Just glad I don't have any games to ump tonight, happy that our tourney ended last night when it was only 95° at game time.

8 straight days of 90 degrees out here. :angry:

Finally,we're getting some relief.Only 78 tomorrow. :thumbsup:

i set out for a bike ride this morning. My computer said it was 72... i thought it was a nice temp for a ride... so I left. Got about 15 miles, and decided it was too hot, so i parked my bike at the restaurant.. and got a ride home. Found out that it was actually 93 at that point in time..Then drove my car out and got my bike. Im an idiot.

It's 100° even right now, surely will climb another point or two between now and five o'clock. :ugh: Good day to be inside where it's about to martini just any minute now :drinkin:
