I turned my back for a minute and, when I turned around again, the score was TIED.

Luckily, the Sox managed to score their 10th run and there is still 1 on base with only 1 out.

I just don't understand why closers are sacrosanct. You take out your ace pitcher if he shows he doesn't have it on a given night, but you can't take out your closer? It makes no sense to me at all.

Brandon Looper is a complete waste of time like Mesa and Benitez. All three manage to blow 10 plus saves each year. Benitez happen to have a good season last year, but he's still one of those bum closers like Mesa and Looper are. How can these dudes still be closers? They blow most of the games they pitch.

Yeah, Red Sox bullpen is pretty bad excluding Timlin. Shesh, I thought Foulke would have got it together by now...
