I'm confused. I'm just gonna root for long games that kill both of their bullpens. :D

If the yanks win the whole series and the sox win every game this week against Cleveland, nothin to worry about. Yanks will still be 7-8 games behind and Baltimore will be like 5,5 games behind.

My general rule of thumb is to pull for the team with the worse record. But, in this case, the worse record belongs to the Yankees. That would ordinarily make it tough for me to decide, but as Blue says, the Yankees winning hurts the O's more than it does the Sox. So I guess this means we have to pull for the NYYs. :barf:

I know. I'm just not sure I can. I'd just assume bury the Yankees alive.

You HAVE to pull for Baltimore! The Yanks are capable of making a run at the division title, so we need to them to get pushed as far back as possible.

Yeah, I tend to agree.

Just root for a 2-1 series...Yankees win 2 of course...:D
If Yanks win 2 the closest they can be is 4.5 back, if the Sox get swept, which won't happen.

I don't know what happened to me. I should have remembered that you can rarely go wrong rooting against the Yankees.
It's one of the reasons I hate interleague play. If the Yankees are playing the Mets division rivals, I have to want the Yankees to beat them. And that's just wrong.

I was thinking along those same lines here.

I've realized Yanks/Birds is win-win for us. One team will lose ground, providfing we stop losing. :(

That's the key.Let them slug it out with each other while you guys start winning.
Knock those Indians down a couple of notches for me :)

Orioles.
Seriously, I wouldn't worry about what the Orioles and Yankees are doing. Red Sox will win the AL East.
