I know Juan Pierre is smokin hot, but I'd aim for an iPod or something buddy :)
No seriously, let's go to Oakland and kidnap Kotsay.

Unless Oakland A's will be willing to trade Kotsay to Yankees, I think Sheffield and Posada is the only players that don't have no-clauses trade. :notme:

Well, we probably have to get Beane drunk in order to get Kotsay without being robbed . But it's nice to dream once in a while.
Posada
Flaherty
Tino
Cano
Jeter
A-Rod
Matsui
Sheffield
Sierra
Mussina
Pavano
Wright
Wang
Gordon
Quantrill
Stanton
Sturtze

Womack
All don't have no-trade clauses :)

pierre and kotsay arent really the answer. at least not the price either one would command especially compared to their relative productions.

Half way to your next birthday after your last birthday.
December 26th = Birthday
June 26th = Half Birthday/ Derek Jeter's Birthday

What kind of bullshit is that? :laff:
Do you get gifts on your half birthday?

I copied and pasted this thread for my husband to see. He owes me half birthday gifts. :smokin:

LOL, I don't think most people celebrate their half birthdays.
Although it came in handy for me during elementary school cuz my real birthday is in the summer so if I didn't celebrate my half birthday I would never get to bring cupcakes :(
Considering Pierre having a bit of a bad season by his standards, I don't think he's the answer in New York, but I think they really could use the speed. We all know they don't got much speed when it comes to Williams. I doubt the Marlins will deal him. Marlins do need offense badly though...
Kotsay the most obvious trade. Even though you won't have to give that much for him. Beane wants to get something for him since it's very unlikely Kotsay going to resign with A's, so get nothing or get at least something, even if it's little from the Yankees? We'll see... Yankees should try landing some starting pitchers.
Womack has a no-trade clause?

No :( I get enough, my birthday is right after Christmas.
I heard the Marlins wanna deal Burnett. I doubt the Yanks would get him because it'd probably just be for the rest of this year b/c he's gonna be a free agent. Possibly the O's are interested.

Womack has a no-trade clause?
LOL! Apparently I've succeeded in convincing myself that he does not exist :D
I shall add him to the list right now.

How does Preston Wilson or Mike Cameron sound in center field?

If we're getting Cameron, we're giving up Cano, so no.
I wouldn't mind Wilson as a last resort. We could probably get him for peanuts as long as we take that contract.

I am thinking that George will work his way to get Kotsay and couple of pitchers.
