Hey gang. Kames asked me to post this here in hopes of luring a new player or two.
The CSFBL (http://www.csfbl.com/) site is a place you can play free simulation baseball. The biggest reason it's free is it uses fictitious names instead of real players, past or present. A few of us who frequent Addicts and Bleacher Gang have managed to start to infuse a few of the leagues with our own "expertise," and there are teams available for anyone to recruit and start running themself.
It's pretty easy, something that should be plain to see if a couple of boneheads like Guru and myself can do it with some measure of success so far. The signup is quick and painless --- I've yet to receive any unwanted e-mail as a result of signing up there in acse you're wondering about that.
Below are direct links to the leagues that some of us are already playing in and that have some openings if you're interested. If you have any questions about it, feel free to PM either myself or James and we'll try to tell you what we've learned from our own trial and error.
1) Alpha Theta Delta (http://www.csfbl.com/leagues.asp?leagueid=771) ... available team - ASHLAND HOPPERS
mmihaly and mihoba are members at Bleacher Gang...poptop is me, of course.
