View Full Version : Goddamn Off Days.....so tell me about your 4th plans

I'm doing NOTHING. Vegas kicked our financial asses. Going to a BBQ on the 4th, that's about it. We usually go to Maine, but being the 4th is Monday and I have to work Tuesday, what's the point?

I'm actually looking forward to just chilling out. :thumbsup:

Wifey and I took tomorrow off to make it a four day weekend. WOO HOO! Nothing much planned, other than a picnic at mom's on Saturday. We'll probably ride our bikes, take the dog for some walks, go see the new Batman movie....a whole lot of nothing. :)

I like a whole lot of nothing. It's far more refreshing than going away sometimes. :thumbsup: I hope the weather improves.

Lets see, my brother has been trying to open the pool, but I dont think its been used in like 3 years or so. Its freaking gross, the water is green. :ack: We're hosting a BBQ on sunday. Just family coming over. I too took tuesday off, but I have to work this saturday though. I know exactly how you feel PP, you really do need a vacation after a vacation. Its tiring. But pretty much doing nothing, but relaxing this weekend.

Tomorrow night is Fireworks Night at Shea, and I'll be there. They put on a great show. Saturday I'm back at Shea, and the gang is tailgating as per usual. Sunday is Shakespeare in the Park (As You Like It). Monday is recuperating. ;)

There's a party amongst some of the Little Leaguers on Saturday, and it's undecided if the family gathering will be Sunday or Monday right now. Only a few big fireworks shows in the area and no overhead fireworks being sold to general public right now since we've been drier than a popcorn fart around this neck of the woods. The show they do each year from the middle of Canyon Lake is pretty awesome, and we can see that one from the top of the hill to our east.

Oh yeah, lots of eating and drinking :wave1: Have a safe and happy 4th!
