I was reading on the website (since it is about my only way to get the scoop on the Sox games up here - did I mention that pulling for Chicago teams really sucks when you live in Alaska?) and noticed a quote from Ozzie in reference to the bullpen's performance in the 13 inning win over the Tigers Wed night.

Here it is:

"I'm more excited for Shingo than winning the game," Guillen added. "Him and Vizcaino did a tremendous job. I was so happy for them -- Vizcaino not to lose the game and Shingo to win the game."

OUCH!! How bad is it when you are given a pat on the back just for not screwing up?

I love it out of Ozzie, it seems like alot of managers baby thier players yet Ozzie seems to be straight forward about everything.

Keep it up Ozzie.

Really can't argue about his style of managing when you're 29 games over .500,and making a mockery of your division at the end of June.

I am assuming that you agree with me?

I did not mean to sound like I was critical of his coaching. Did it sound that way?

No,no not at all there.I totally see where you are coming from there.

Whatever Ozzie's doing is definately working.I think baseball needs someone like Ozzie, who's not afraid to speak his mind.To me,he's a breath of fresh air.

He was just happy as hell for both Luis and Shingo, knowing very well their problems this year.
