If any of you guys like Monty Python, you have to check out Spamalot! I saw it a few months ago and It is freaking hilarious. I hear they have a soundtrack out, check out some clips http://www2.fanscape.com/spamalot/spamalot_ecard.aspx

I'm not a fan however i am dying to dee it since it got a ton of Tony's at the tony awards and tha cast is amazing. I have only been hearing good things so its looking like a possibility the next time i purchase tix to a show.

I've been a huge Python fan since I first discovered them in the mid-70's. I was assigned the task of buying theatre tickets for my parents when they come up, and my father suggested Spamalot, but I didn't think my mother would really appreciate. Not quite the same sense of humor as me and dad.

A friend of mine, who's both a huge Python fan and unbelievable knowledgable about all things Broadway, said the second act was very very weak. But I'll probably see it at some point anyway.

Have you seen Wicked??

Yes! It was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!! I loved it, and i got the opportunity to see it while Tae Diggs was in it. he only performed for a week, but him and Idina had amazing chemistry, for obvious reasons;) I felt like a little kid that day, i sat there wide eyed, and awed more and more. It is by far not my favorite show, though you would think it was, but it was truely amazing for me...i found my love for theater again when i saw that show.

imgreat: I know its going to be hard, however sometimes you get lucky and its on the Tickets board in Times Square which is where i purchase just about all my tix for these shows. but i know it will be hard.

Yeah he was only in it for a week, while the original Fiyero was out sick. It was january 2004. I had to pay full price for hte tix, however we got aweseom seats because my dance teacher who is my mom's best friend, her husband konws the lighting designers father, and has met the lights designer. If i remember coreectly its Ken Posner.
