That's all fine and good, but can someone explain to me HOW THE CHRIST Matt Clement got left off?????????

blame that one on francona. :D he had the choice between el fatso and clement and he went with el fatso (colon)

Yeah, you can't fault Francona for this. It's the SYSTEM that has to be blamed. That "every team must be represented" rule is dumb.

10 imaginary points to babs! and basically everyone else in the world, since it seems like that's the consensus everywhere...not everyone is good enough to make the all star team...simple as that.

No he didn't. The rules have changed. The league told him he had to take Colon over Matt. The rules were changed this year because Torre abused his power every year.
