This statement goes out to all members of this site even non-Astros fans.
I learned of some people that had some problems with the articles I have been writing for Astrosdaily. So, I went over to that site (it shall remain nameless but I'm sure some of you here may know what I'm talking about) to see if they had constructive criticism. You see, normally I would ignore criticism, but I always want to improve.
The tone of that site is negative and so childish that I was appalled. Like I said, I'm not going to name the site and say things like, "never go over there". You are all grownups and can do what you like. My point was mainly to say thank you for being civil. However, I think the biggest thing I want to say to everyone is thank you for having an open mind.
I have learned a lot over the last three years here and have altered my opinions and studies based on those changes in schema. The minds over there are closed and its sad. They don't like how I always use statistics. It's not the statistics mind you because they don't mind using them if it serves their purposes. When I introduce statistics that go against what they believe they counter with childish name-calling.
I will be spending a lot more time here for the rest of the summer.
