Bret Boone...

what do you guys think? I know that Bellhorn has the potential for some great games, and he was real clutch for us during the post season last year but...he's hitting .224, that that just isn't good enough. Now Bret Boone certainly hasn't had such a great year, but he's still hitting better (sorta) at .231, and I think he has the potential for a lot better. Also i think Boone is a little better defensively than Bellhorn.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bellhorn, but .224 just isn't good enough.

That's what I said earlier in this forum. I'd prefer Boone over Bellhorn, yes but it ain't going to happen. Bellhorn's a free agent this year, and I doubt Boston's going to sign him. This will leave room for either Youkillis moving to second or signing a 2B in the offseason. BTW: It seems like Boone will be traded to the Twins.

BellHorn had a nice game for us yesterday.... But in previous games he's been CRAP!

He might get resigned.... Hope not. I don't think managment is that stupid
