just saw this during the broadcast! he got hit on the leg last night and will miss the all star game! this certainly means that clement will go to the all star game :thumbup:

As long as it's a pitcher, I'm OK. Clement deserves a shot at the game.

We just have to worry if a non-pitcher gets injured -- then Jeter might manage to weasel himself into the game.

actually, it's Halladay, and he was carrying my fantasy team.

But hooray for Clement. He deserved it without a doubt. I just want that F*head Kenny Rogers off the team. He should be cooking some rotisserie chicken, not playing baseball.

well, i read in the globe that clement was pitched...and a lot of people are saying that if rogers doesnt go, that jeremy bonderman would go in his place...

What do you mean weasel? He has all-star numbers and tries as hard as anyone in the league. BA is .309, OBP is .393 with decent power, 11 HRs, 37 RBIs and tied for second best in runs scored with 69, one behind Pujols. He's tied for 11th in hits with 105.

Bummer that halladay will miss the game. He's only the best pitcher in the AL. I am glad to see Clement go, but too bad it's at the expense of Halladay. I'd rather see Kenny "The Boxer" Rogers skip the game.

Sucks about Halladay. I don't think Clement is All-Star worthy, but no one else is either.
