YAY!!! on two counts!
Orioles won, 5-3, (now 1 game out of 1st!) and Raffy got another hit, so he now stands at 2,999!!! :eek: :jump:
Baseball Tonight went to live coverage as he came up for the last time in Seattle...... there were tons of pictures being taken........ lots of flashes going off. The hometown crowd of Seattle actually booed the pitcher for walking him...... (the walk wasn't intentional, he just didn't locate his pitches.)
Lots of coverange on this, so this is very cool!!! He'll probably do it tonight, because he's been in a groove. I gotta check the papers to see what the Mariners players are saying about it. Then, it's ironic that we have Mike Hargrove in the other dugout, managing the Mariners!
So, here's a recap of the game. Gibby went 2 for 4.... he's really gotten back to hitting! :clap:
