I am sure things will turn out just all righty, just like last night when Mussina couldn't get his job done but the offense took care of it. I think they will work extra harder to support Redding.

They still have to do something with their pitching. You can't just assume they are going to score 8 runs every game to compensate for the lack of pitching ability.

We all know that about the pitching problems :ugh: Seems like it might not going to get better soon anytime due to injuries, etc. The offense will need to be more aggressive and play smart, just like last night

Even if they were all healthy I wouldn't be impressed.

$67 million in starters should buy the best pitching in baseball..

I'm still trying to figure out how Pavano and Wanger went down all off a sudden

This is Brown's last year isn't it? Cause that guy is just horrid on the mound and he is a waste of $15 million dollars.

They got to stop getting these 40 year old players and players that are injury prone.

$205 million should buy the best team in baseball too, but this is what you get when you dole out the big, long-term contracts.

And thankfully, I think the Yanks have finally learned thier lesson about big contracts and old veterans. I'm very excited now that Stick Michael's back in the fold and they've seemed to finally adopt a different team-building philosophy :)

You mean about calling up rookies?

I thought it was the lack of options.

Yes, calling up rookies and sticking with them. Cashman has stated several times that he'll do everything he can to keep Cano and Wang, and that the Yankees are no longer looking to sacrifice youth for proven players.

Eh, I've seen worse. Remember that 22-0 game last year and that no-hitter in 03 and that game earlier this season when we made like 8 errors in one inning?

Yeah, but today was pretty bad :ugh:

I wasn't expecting much with Redding though. We NEED NEED NEED to win tomorrow, because Sunday will be another 17-1 day. It's all on you, RANDY JOHNSON :gt:

Heard that Yankees are expecting to get 39 years old left-hander Al Leiter from Florida Marlins.

I was exaggerating a bit....

I'd probably die for any starting pitcher with 3 or more wins this season, they can't be worse then these crapheads.
