My name may be "Leiterfan" but that does NOT mean I want him to win tonight. He's still one of my all-time favorite Mets, but in the end, I root for the laundry, and he'll be wearing dirty laundry for the foreseeable future. :barf:
He should have retired after last season, and gone into the broadcast booth where he belongs. Perhaps a couple of good shellings over the next few weeks will make him realize that.
I want the Sox to shell him tonight. The Red Sox are one of the most patient teams in all of MLB, and Al doesn't throw a whole lot of strikes these days. His career record at Fenway is 1-4 with an ERA that's not pretty.
Just in case there was any doubt, I wanted to make sure you all knew where my loyalties lie.
