he's a defensive liability, but we keep him in the lineup for his bat. Or ability to walk. Tell me how .216 is helping us? At least he's consistent -- in leading the league in strikeouts. :loser: So tell me...

WHY IS HE ON THIS EFFING TEAM?? :bonehead

Screw Burnett or Wagner or whoever. FIND ME A SECONDBASEMAN (AND A MIDDLE RELIEVER WHILE YOU'RE AT IT) :gripe:

I luv ya Hobo, but Bellhorn is not our problem. We simply have no pitching.

I like Belhorn. And PP's right. We need better pitching. All around. This is getting ridiculous. The only reason why we were able to be in first was because of our offense, but lately we cant anything right. And we cant win with just offense, we found that out in 2003. Theo should have made a harder push for Burnett. Or even Al Leiter.

Bob, I just don't think there is any pitching. Burnett is not the answer, neither is Leiter. We're just gonna have to hope our prospects step up in a few years. Until then, we simply can't win.

Well for all those Bellhorn haters, you've got 15 days without him now. Personally, I'd rather have him than Alex effing Cora.

I'm not such a fan of bellhorn, but he does have pretty good defense skills, and offense really isn't a problem. It's just ugly watching him go up there knowing he's gonna strike out.

Take Cora and give us Todd Walker back.

Cora sucks. Period.

Lol, Nomar.. :lmao:

Anyway, we'll have Graffanino. He's hitting better than both Cora and Bellhorn. And, won't try to set MLB record in K's like Bellhorn was. Graffanino hitting at 298., so when the deal made official, we should have a good 2B.

Hmm I saw Bellhorns numbers its nothing to write home to anyone about...There are some good 2b in the minors. A guy like Jeff Keppinger hit .280 or somewhere up there with the mets last 2 monts of the season when he was brought up and he has a nice little glove if I remember. You could trade from him and maybe a middle reliver like Heath Bell or somthing like that but thats just commin from a mets fans angle...oh and how ya guys doin long time no speakey.
