I used to be a big wrestling fan for many years. AWA, WWF, NWA, WCW, I watched all of that stuff over the years. For me the peak of my wrestling interest was in the mid to late 1990's with the WCW/NWO stuff. Watched WCW religiously and even went to a Nitro taping in Chicago. That was some great stuff. After that my interest slowly dwindled and now I never watch it.

I think the thing that really killed my interest in wrestling was the ECW. Not in a bad way. It was just that after I saw what those guys did in the ECW, I could not watch the other shows. I mean, after you have seen Sabu get smashed in the head with a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire, or watch guys get power slammed over the top rope onto a concrete floor, any other form of wrestling seems quaint by comparison. Except for Mick Foley. When he "fell" off of the top of the steel cage onto the announcers table that one time, that was awesome.

I have been watching it since the mid 80's and loved both WWF and even moreso WCW/NWA.. I used to be a HUGE Sting fan as well as a fan of the greatest stable in wrestling history-The 4 Horsemen...

I have seen EVERY title change hands in both federations....

I went to Georgia for the 1st Slamboree and got to eat dinner with Jim Brunzel and got to meet and get autographs and photos from tons of wrestlers that I still have to this day.. Guys like Lou Thez, Stu Hart, Sting, Bob Orton, Ole Anderson, Blackjack Mulligan and Dusty Rhodes to name a few...

I've been to PPV's for both feds as well as TV tapings for both feds... My most recent PPV was one of my favorites of alltime and that was the ARMAGEDDON PPV for WWE a couple of Decembers ago where Evolution won EVERY title that night.. Funny, till then, I had never seen any WWE title change till that PPV and in 1 night I saw all of them change...

I have been to barbwire matches, War Games, and steel cage matches...

I have hundreds of hours or vhs tapes full of wrestling from ppv's, to Clash of Champions, as well as ECW, Smoky Mountain Wrestling and Japan wrestling.. I have Japan matches that have exploding barbwire with Cactus Jack, matches with Hogan vs Stan Hansen, Road Warriors vs Hogan and another Japanese star, Benoit when he wrestled over there as the Pegusus Kid and many, many more...

I have sat in the 1st row for ppv's including the 1st time Hogan went against Flair in WCW and beat Flair to win the title at a Bash at the Beah PPV.. I was in the 1st row for a SuperBrawl PPV and got a VIP shirt, ate free lunch and got to meet Dudstin Rhodes and Sting and then got to sit on the other side of the camera and was seen the whole PPV and got watch Sting take on Vader in a strap match...

Damn, I used to LOVE this stuff!

I also agree with Spitball, ECW was an AMAZING product! I have seen ppv's and have actually been to a few live events and even had a 1st row seat and had Sandman spit beer on me:) ECW was a great promotion that the wreslers were just AMAZING! Loved guys like Shane Douglas (I still have the match where he won the NWA belt only to throw it down and declare ECW its own promotion and no longer a part of the NWA), Chris Candidto, Sandman, Lance Storm, Spike Dudley, the Dudley Brothers, New Jack, RVD, Sabu, Terry Funk plus the ones that went thru ECW like Stone Cold, Cactus Jack, Guerrero, Benoit, the Steiner Brothers to name a few....

It was very sad to see ECW go down but wrestling still goes on.. WWE is still good but I think having WCW was better for the fans because it made both products better in the long run because of the competition...

Now USA in a week and a half is getting Raw back and they will be on at 8pm that 1st week and WWE is hyping it bigtime... They are supposed to have Hogan, Stone Cold and other big names on the show...

I think the TNA fed is going to be on Spike on Sat nights... TNA is actually a pretty good Fed with guys liek Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, Rhino, Sean Waltman (X-Pac), Raven, Konnan, Kevin Nash and Sabu....

LOL, she lasted for only a year. She lasted as long as previous Tough Enough winners. They seriously need to stop running those reality TV wannabe shows like Raw Diva Search and Tough Enough. The people they get from these shows never last long at all.

Christy Hemme was probably the best for those type of shows. Mixed well with the show since she was the only red-head, but nobody really gives a damn about female wrestlers. They like them when they're cheerleaders or managers to wrestlers.

Cena is not entertaining any longer. He does nothing I find entertaining and quite a few people are figure out that he's not that great of entertainer what so ever. If you can put a good show inside the ring, which he clearly can't, then do the other stuff good, which he also doesn't. I won't be too shocked that Cena bails soon and worries about his music, because people are quickly turning on him.

Kurt Angle is boo'ed, because he's a heel, just like HHH, but people know these guys put on a great show when they're out there. The likes of Bret Hart know that Kurt one of the best in this business. After being defeated by that joke Cena. Sorry, but the last time these guys went at PPV, Angle deceived new moves while Cena continue his repetitive tactics. It's also entertaining to see Cena kick out of a person's finishing move not once, not twice, but three times. Angle keeps it fresh and tries to be entertaining out in the ring while Cena has not.

Edge is entertaining heel, but in the ring, he's not much better than Cena. Kurt will continue to be entertaining, until they decide to let that Cena take his belt back. WWE looks like they want HHH v.s Cena at WM this year.

The new World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels have had some of the best matches in WWE history. They are considered two of the best all-around performers that the sports-entertainment industry has ever seen. They delivered an instant-classic at WrestleMania 21, and Angle walked away with the first victory in what would turn out to be an extended rivalry.

Their match at WrestleMania was an interpromotional one, but after Angle was drafted to RAW in the Draft Lottery, it was just a matter of time before they locked horns again. The rematch was at Vengeance, and while the match was another classic, the result was different as HBK picked up the big win.

Mr. McMahon then put a smile on every WWE fans’ faces when he announced a third match between the two for the big WWE Homecoming last October. To make things even more interesting, though, he made the rubber match a 30-Minute WWE Iron Man Match. The two battled to the point of exhaustion for 30 minutes, and in the end, they both scored two falls apiece, and the match was ruled a draw.

What happened with Stone Cold was that he did not like the script after J.R. was fired. In the match with the Coach, he was supposed to lose and J.R. not get his job back. So, since if Stone Cold were to lose the match, he would lose his job on RAW. Thats what I have heard through the rumor mill.

The first show is March 18. I believe it starts at 8 or 9 pm. I don't know the reason for bringing the show back, but I assume NBC wanted to capitalize on the huge ratings RAW and Smackdown are getting on USA and UPN respectively. I wonder whether to main superstars will be participating or the guys off Velocity or Heat will be the ones getting the showtime.

I just cant imagine it being as good or as big as the previous SNME... Back then, SNME was full of HUGE matches, which you never saw unless you watched a PPV.. Now with Raw and SD, you get great, marquee match-ups on a weekly basis, something you didnt have before... So in a sense, it was a novelty to see those great matches on free tv... I will watch, but it meant so much more back in the day to see SNME....

Well, the first match is in Detroit, starts at 8 pm. Both Smackdown and Raw rosters will be competing. Hope to see some interpromotional matches, just to get some of the better wrestlers against each other.

Can't really top Hogan, Andre the Giant, Jake "the Snake", Hacksaw Jim Duggins, to name a few.

Will be excited to see the Supershow Monday the 27th at the MCI Center. Tickets are 6 rows from the ring. Poor Marty Jannetty. In order to get his contract with WWE, he has to join the Mr. McMahon "Kiss My Ass Club". For all of us, just another stupid reason to see Vince's white ass.

I thought it was pretty good... I really liked the 1st match with Angle/Rey/Orton vs HHH/Cena as well as the Street Fight with HBK vs Shane O Mac...

Hell ya, it was great to see SNME again. Seemed weird to see it in primetime though. I hope they are planning on doing more of them.

SNME was beat out by Cops on Fox and even TNA beat SNME in rating for an hour. Man, I think people are getting it that WWE has been so repetitive lately, it's no longer enjoyable to watch.

Don't get the wrong idea, I'm a fan of WWE, but they're pumping out the same type of matches and storylines show after show. You tend to start getting bored with watching the same thing.

Only matchs that really interest me at WM is Orton/Angle/Rey and MitB match. Orton/Angle/Rey might be able to pull off an exciting like HHH/HBK/Beniot did back in WM 2004. MitB match will probably have Lashley and Finley beating the crap out of each another. Hardy, Shelton and RVD high flying and Flair being there for no reason what so ever. In the end, RVD will probably win, use his title match for the belt during ECW PPV.

Anyway, the King of Punk Shannon Moore is coming back to WWE. He'll be Shannon Moore and probably team with Matt Hardy and they'll go after MNM since there's no tag division on RAW or SD.

Hell don't let me get started on Edge........he's more white trash then Joe Dirt. Of course I forgot to mention John Cena. Does anyone really like Cena? It feels like the fans are starting to turn on him. Is he lame? Come on guys........he's Markie Mark and the funky bunch.

Dward, you forgot Randy Orton. To me, he is the new face of WWE, I love the guy. Definately has the charisma and pedigree to be the new Topgun. I always have liked the heels more then the good guys. Anybody can play a hero and be liked. Try playing a bad guy and getting liked, then you know you are good.
