Just moments ago against the White Sox,Orioles P Daniel Cabrera was struck near the elbow with a rocket off the bat of Chicago 3B Joe Crede.He was removed from the game with the O's trailing 1-0 in the 2nd inning.

Looks like he was hit in the hand.

Repotrs say that Cabrera has a contusion in his thrwoing hand,and x-rays were negative.So that's good news there.

I'm glad, for him, that it's not as serious as it could have been.......... but it no doubt means he'll be out for awhile.

The Orioles' luck just keeps going bad.
