Good W for the A's tonight as they beat the hapless Twins this evening.
Good pitching duel by Joe Blanton and Johan all night long.
Blanton got the best out of Johan because the Twins offense is just awful.
A's may have a tough time making the playoffs despite that hot streak so they can't afford to lose one game to the Twins. A's need this sweep. You gotta beat the bad or struggling teams. A's need to sweep the Twins if they have any prayer of making the playoffs. There is no reason for the A's not to get this sweep. The Twins are a beaten up club who are a mess emotionally and mentally. A's gotta beat them up while they are down.
BTW, look for lot of game threads by me daily. I will be watching the A's a lot as I root for them to win the AL West.
