Lew Ford hit a two-out triple in the bottom of the 8th to score Morneau. Cuddyer hit 2 homeruns in the game and now has 3 dingers in the last 2 games.

Silva went 8 innings giving up 3 runs, Nathan pitched a scoreless top of the ninth with 2 KO's to pick up the win.

Twins snap the 6 game skid 4-3.

It's good to get the win. It was nice to see the Twins show some spunk and character late in the game. That was more like it as SG said.

It was good to see Michael Cuddyer and Lew really come through. Here's hoping is a start of a turnaround for those two. Lew really needs to get it going. I hope that hit will help him get his confidence back.

Carlos was spectacular. Boy what a season he has had. Had the team was winning consistently and had the team was scoring runs for him, he would be a candidate for Cy Young. He is definitely the Twins best starting pitcher for sure.

Man I am just glad the Twins won. It's a beautiful feeling. Seeing the Twins win tonight is like seeing the Tigers win their first game after going 0-17 four years ago. That's how beautiful is. It was nice to see the fans and the players celebrating together as if they won the World Series.
