Twins lost three out of four to the white-hot A's this afternoon. It was the same ol' same ol'. I hope you know what I am talking about when I mean same ol' same ol' because I ain't repeating about how they lost anymore. You know the drill now.
The good news was that Kyle pitched a darn good ballgame. He was fantastic. Eventually, every dog has its day so it was Kyle's turn to have that day. Now let's see if he can do it again in his next start. I am hoping he can finish the year strong so the Twins can get trade him and get something for him if that's humanly possible.
Justin has started to hit which is good even though it maybe too little too late now.
Jason Bartlett did not have the series he wants, but I want him to continue to play and grow. There is no point benching him or platooning him. I don't care if he is batting .040. He has to play a lot.
What has happened to Jesse Crain? He has been so inconsistent all year and he is just not getting anyone out.
I hope the A's go to the playoffs. I admire the way they go out and play. The Twins sure can learn from them. Twins used to play like that.
Wins are going to be so hard to come by for the rest of the year so when the Twins win, enjoy em. It does not get easy as the World Champs come to town this weekend. This could get real ugly with the Red Sox Nation making the most noise.
