GAME: Boston Red Sox (62-45) at Minnesota Twins (55-53).

TIME: Friday, 8:10 p.m. EDT.

Brad Radke will take the mound for Minnesota against right-hander Bronson Arroyo.

Radke is working on a streak of four straight quality starts, but he is 0-2 in that span because of poor run support. The right-hander gave up three runs on six hits over seven innings in a no-decision Sunday at Boston.

Radke has been sharp since the All-Star break, but he still has only victory since June 1 -- a span of 10 starts.

STANDINGS:
Red Sox - 1st place, AL East. Twins - 3rd place, 15½ GB, AL Central.

Bronson Arroyo (9-6, 4.22 ERA). The 28-year-old right-hander has won two of his last three starts, and is coming off Friday's 8-5 victory over the Twins in which he gave up three runs and five hits over 7 1-3 innings. Arroyo, who is 3-1 with a 4.46 ERA over his last five starts, is 2-0 with a 3.07 ERA in two career starts against Minnesota.

TWINS PROBABLE STARTER: http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/120878.jpg
Brad Radke (6-10, 3.88 ERA). The veteran right-hander has pitched much better than his 1-6 record would indicate over his last nine starts. Radke allowed three earned runs or fewer in seven of those outings, but was only rewarded with a win once - after allowing four runs and nine hits over 6 1-3 innings in a 5-4 victory over Kansas City on July 8. Radke gave up three runs and six hits over seven innings in the Twins' 4-3 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday, but did not receive a decision. The 32-year-old righty is 8-6 with a 5.08 ERA in 21 career starts against Boston.

I don't know what was amazing. Twins winning or scoring that many runs. Either way, that was great to see on both counts. Wins are like that are hard to come back so enjoy em when you can. This is probably the first time the Twins beat someone in all cylinders since they were in Phoenix to play the Diamondbacks. You had great pitching, great hitting, and great defense. It's been awhile since you saw the Twins do all of em in one game.

Nice to see Brad finally get that run support. It's about time. He has pitched so well since the post All-Star Break with nothing to show for it. It was good to see it happen last night and it was good to see it happen.

Nice to see Joe Mauer and Lew have great games. Lew has had a good week. Here's hoping this continues for Lew.

Just a great performance Friday night
