Lew apparently was taken out of the game Tuesday night for not hustling and screwing up the bunt. WOW! He must have really ticked Gardy off for him to leave the game. This is just everything in a nutshell of what has went wrong with the Twins.
I am suprised at how bad Lew has played this season. I did not think he would be a problem. This guy did everything right last year. He played hard. He hustled. He found the little holes. He along with Shannon had the best at-bats last year. For whatever reason, it has not been the same for him this year. He missed an hit-and-run sign. He now can't even bunt properly. I don't know what went wrong.
It's just dissapointing to hear about this.
At least, Lew got a repreive by getting the tying base hit and scoring the GW run Wednesday night.
