I am pleased to announce the addition of a new position here at Addicts called a "Super Moderator"
Basically a Super Mod is a moderator that has the ability to act as a moderator in every forum not just his/her own....
My main reason for adding this position is quite frankly I am getting a bit burnt out...
There have been a lot of changes etc to the site and I have spent way too much time on the net especially with fantasy starting up.....
Another major reason and this is a good thing is that we have seen a major increase in members the last few months and the site is pretty busy and I can't always catch things that need to be moderated ASAP....
For those reasons I have decided to name Shawn (AKA imgreat) as the Addict Sports Super Moderator:thumbsup:
Shawn will pretty much be 2nd in command around here after myself and will have complete control of all forums....
If I'm not around please ask Shawn any questions that need to be directly answered....(Of course, Chad is still the big Kahuna:biggrin:)
Also, if anyone needs to contact me directly please just click on the :"Contact Us" button located at the bottom of every page....
A few reasons on why I picked Shawn....
1st off Shawn has become one of my best internet friends since I have been on the net....
We have been together since our History moderating days at SP....
There are few other people I would trust do a good job with what I am asking of him....
2nd, he is on at all times of the day, probably more than anyone else that comes here so he is pretty much around at all times of the day for access......
There really has never been much of a need for this position or for myself for that matter to edit posts at all in the past...But with the increase of members comes more potential problems and Shawn is just another set of eyes to help keep the site running smoothly.....
To the moderators that are currently in place I want to thank you guys for doing a great job and this Super Mod stuff in no way reflects on the jobs you guys do at this site....We just have a few foums that have no moderators and at times need moderating....
Too busy for me alone to keep up with....
