Jayson Stark was on with Mike & Mike this morning, and they asked him about the White Sox and Podsednik. He said that, since their lead was so big, that they could afford to put Podsednik on the DL and let him get rest and heal. If they were in a tight race, like the Angels or the Red Sox, they wouldn't have the luxury of doing that.

I heard that this morning.I heard them also say that the Sox are still the favorite coming out of the AL,mainly because teams like Oakland,Boston,LA,and Cleveland hasn't really stepped up as of late.
