When you get to NYC, here are a few things to remember when riding on the New York City subway trains:
1. Buy a metro card $4.00 (good for 2 trips)
2. Get ready to have your backpack searched
3. Don't sleep in the subway
4. If you see something, say something.

Was a really long drive. Especially when it came to trying to find a little tiny side street right in the middle of Brooklyn. never did find the place the proper way (according to the directions given to me, that is... but we got within 4 blocks or so. Great stuff. Watched the most boring baseball game we have ever seen. Tonight, will be different, though.

btw, i just wanna say that Shawn is a walking Metfan Magnet!!  this shows that deep down he is a Mets fan, or was in a previous life.... everywhere we went, he would attract a met fan or two or three :D i've never seen anything like it! Garymrmets witnessed it also! not only that, i do believe he is also a Yankeefan Repellent! :clap:

Hmmmm......maybe there are actually redeeming qualities to Shawn........!!
Zach Duke is a phenom. Can't blame Shawn for the loss. :(

I take CREDIT for the win. The Bucs only lose one or two games per season with me in attendance.. :) And pay no mind to the claims of being a Met fan magnet. I am just a PEOPLE magnet... because I am such an amazing person. What she isnt telling you is that I also had Yankee fans standing right next to me for about half an hour...;)

there was that ONE a-rod fan standing next to you but he was practically INVISIBLE! didn't say ONE word, kept to himself, i barely noticed him til you pointed him out :hmm: so he doesn't count!!!!!
i'm talking about those fans that drive me to write pages of vent threads--they were nowhere to be found wed & thurs! I'M TELLING YOU, you are a Metfan magnet!! the same thing happened when i was at PNC Park!! Met fans EVERYWHERE!! cool, friendly ones..... wed night we walked into ESPN Zone and the wait staff/bartenders were ALL met fans! when did that happen????
AT THE GAME, shawn was SURROUNDED by the friendliest..... Mets AND Red Sox fans LOL!!! :laff: (his favorite!) ;) [note: how many times have nan & i vented about going to Met games at Shea and having to endure obnoxious Y-fans who go to the game and do nothing but start trouble? they are ALWAYS there, we always somehow encounter at least one, it is extremely irritating] BUT you can bet that doesn't happen when you-know-who is in town lol :D somehow, he has an AURA that attracts only Met fans (the super friendly ones too) .......it leaves me thinking that deep inside he truly IS a mets fan, or, like i said, must have been in a previous life b/c he seems awfully comfortable around them and his list of Met fan friends seem to grow by the minute! .........i'm thinking if i ever had the guts/desire(?) to ever go to a Subway series again, i'm taking Metfan Magnet with me!! :D
