Time for this year's Addicts Pick-em for Points thread.... A return of the most popular Pick-em thread of last year.
Here are the rules....

•Sunday, Saturday Games 1 point
•Monday night Thursday night odd day games 2 points.
•Most picked right in that one week gets 2 points. If a tie the points carry over to the next week and so on.
•Wild Card Weekend Games 2 points, next week 4 points, Conf Champ week 6 points and Super Bowl week 8 points
•Give Points for Super Bowl. Closest one gets 10 points.

You must pick the winner of each game before the first snap of that week. Miss the time you miss the week and dont get the points.

PP is the returning Champ so she starts with a -10. :D (Not really)

This will be the thread that we will post in and questions just ask and we will help.

Vikings over Buccaners : I can't see the Vikings lose at home in their season opener. I think the Vikings defense come up huge by shutting down Brian Griese.

Redskins over the Bears: Kyle Orton does not know what he is in for when he goes up against Gregg Williams's defense.

Browns over the Bengals: Romeo Crennel and his defensive coordinator cook up something special in shutting down Carson Palmer. With the Browns playing at home and the fact it's Romeo's debut, look for the adreanline to fuel the Browns.

Dolphins over the Broncos: Miami's defense plays a role in this win and old friend, Gus Freotte does enough not to lose. I think Ricky Williams has a big game.

Bills over the Texans: Losman has a great debut and Bills defense kill David Carr.

Panthers over Saints: This will be a great game. Two good teams going at it. Saints will be on a mission all year as they are playing for the state of Louisana and the victims that died in that unfortuante Hurricane. I think this is the year that this team finally becomes focused. With that said, Carolina is well-coached and much better defensively. Carolina finds a way to beat the Saints.

Jets over the Chiefs: Jury is still out on the Chiefs defense. Chad Pennington airs it out against Chiefs defense and Jets defense dominate Trent Green.

Jags over the Seahawks: Leftwich has a big game at home and the Jags defense will be all over Hasselbeck.

Steelers over the Titans: This should be a great game. This should be a close one. I think Ben throws the game winning TD as he alleviates Steelers fans fear of a sophmore slump for one week.

Giants over the Cards: Giants defense know Kurt Warner inside and out and that makes the difference in this game. Giants defense will blitz Warner to death as Kurt has an unhappy homecoming.

Chargers over the Cowboys: Dallas will be a lot better this season, but I can't see Chargers losing at home. San Diego will come out on fire and win this game.

Packers over the Lions: Lions will find ways to lose to the Packers again and Favre will do what he does best in having big games against the Lions.

Niners over the Rams: My upset special. Niners are going to be bad, but for one game, I think they suprise everyone and play with adrealine for their new, energetic coach, Mike Nolan (I think Nolan is going to be the next John Fox)

Colts over the Ravens: Peyton Manning will do just fine against the Ravens D. It's the Patriots defense that seems to give him fits.

Eagles over the Falcons: Philly's experience spurs the Iggles over the Dirty Birds.

Timberwolf
09-09-2005, 03:21 PM
Thanks, Shad. :) I appreciate it.

I notice everyone on message boards that I go to pick the Bengals over the Browns. I think Special K is the only guy I know that pick the Browns, but he is more familiar with the team since he is a fan of the Browns. I think the Browns are good enough to beat the Bengals. Bengals have come a long way and it seems they are everyone's chic pick for them to do really well, but I don't know. I was burned on them last year and they seem to find ways to lose to games that they should have won last year. I just think the Browns will find a way to beat the Bengals.

Lot of great games in Week 1. To me, the best game of the week is Carolina/New Orleans. Both teams could make noise in the NFC this season and both teams are contending for a playoff spot. Atlanta/Philly will be good too, but those two teams will likely make the playoffs. Carolina/New Orleans matchup could dictate who will go to the playoffs.

Timberwolf

Tampa Bay

Them fighting words. :)

We will see about that.

Durango53
09-09-2005, 03:31 PM
I think the Browns stand a great chance to beat the Bengels. First off it is hard to win on the road in the NFL. Browns are going to come out fired up at home. But with young WR and the main RB out going with the backups it will be tough.

But in the new NFL any team can beat any other team any given week.

Timberwolf
09-09-2005, 03:41 PM
I just don't think Carson Palmer has arrived. He along with Eli Manning have a lot to prove. They are nowhere close to primetime players. I just think Crennel has an ace on his sleeve in shutting down Palmer.

I think Dilfer can will the Browns to some Wins this year. This will be one of them.

Bull-ony.

I may thoroughly dislike the Donkeys, but they aren't a bad team. And you can't even begin to tell me about how great the Dolphins are after going...what 4-12 last year? I'm glad it happened and all, but I'd say it still falls under surprising, espeically considering the score.

When i say the Broncos aren't a great team, I'm not saying they suck. I'm saying they're good. Not bad, not terrible, not amazing; maybe I should have been more specific, but that's what I meant. And the Dolphins aren't THAT bad. Frerotte looked unbelieveable. But, no I'm not saying they're going to win the AFC East, but they're not going to be the pushover team they were last year.

Yeah, me too. Their defense is smothering. Anytime you have Taylor on the end you'll get pressure on the QB. Thomas and Madison are still some of the best at their positions. And now the have a half decent OL and a solid recieving core for their QB. Frerotte looked amazing.

Shad... you dont get any points for predicting that New England will play at Carolina... the schedule makers already decided that months ago.

Timberwolf
09-16-2005, 01:24 AM
Vikings over Bengals: I think Daunte and the offense get back on track this week on the road. Cincy is a lot different than the Bucs. Their defense is not that intimidating so I could see the OL and the running game do a little better. This is a must-win game for the Vikings IMO and probably the biggest game of Mike Tice's coaching career..

Ravens over Titans: Both teams stunk the joint offensively last week. Still, I like the Ravens a little bit better than the Titans. Ravens D has handled McNair over the years. I think Jamal Lewis has a great day and will the Ravens to a win.

Bucs over the Bills: Tampa defense frustrate J.P. Losman. Losman won't have the numbers against that defense like he did against the Texans.

Lions over the Bears: Chicago simply stinks. There is no reason the Lions should lose this game.

Jags over the Colts: That's a great game. I think this will be high scoring. I will take the Colts since they are at home. Peyton is normally immortal at the RCA Dome.

Patriots over the Panthers: A rematch of the SB couple of years ago. This should be a good one. I like the Pats though. How do you bet against them? I hear pundits talk about how the Pats schedule is pretty tough. Why should the Patriots be scared of anyone?

Steelers over the Texans: This one will be a rout. Steelers should not have a problem against them.

Eagles over the Niners: Just look at the talent and experience. Eagles have both over the NIners.

Falcons over the Seahawks: Atlanta's D should handle Hasselbeck, who really needs to start playing better.

Cardinals over the Rams: I think Arizona will do a lot better as they can't go nowhere but up. St. Louis's Defense should not keep Kurt Warner up at nights. They ain't the Giants defense. Warner should have a good day against the Rams D.

Packers over the Browns: Packers are bad, but I think they are good enough to beat Cleveland.

Jets over the Dolphins: Jets should bounce back after a disgraceful loss to KC. They need this game badly. Their schedule is tough. Jets are a lot better than Miami. They should do a lot better on Sunday.

Chargers over the Broncos: I think S.D. bounce back from a horrible performance. Denver's defense stinks so Brees should have a good day.

Chiefs over the Raiders: Trent Green has a field day with the Raiders defense and Chiefs D should be good enough to make Kerry Collins make mistakes.

Saints over the Giants: Saints will play with a heavy heart

Cowboys over the Redskins: Redskins stink. Their QBs blow. Dallas has more talent than the Skins. How long till Jason Campbell become the QB?

I stunk last week, but this week, I will do great.

Vikings/Saints: I have a good feeling about this game. I think the Vikings pull this one out. I think the offense finally have a great game. This offense is too good to be this bad all season. They will figure it out on Sunday. Saints are a tired team and they want to go to San Antonio at this point. Plus with the Saints playing Monday night, I think the Vikings got a good shot to beat a team that seems ripe for the taking. In fact, I am going to out and gurantee a Vikings win. Pick: Vikings

Giants/Chargers: I can't wait for this game. I can't wait to see Eli get his. This guy has it coming. I don't like how he and his dad orchestrated a trade to go to the Giants not to mention the fact that Eli is just a punk. He reminds me a lot like Alex Rodriguez. A total a-hole who is just ingenious. I think Eli will get rattled big time with the fans and the Chargers defense who are going to sharpen their tools at him this Sunday night. Eli's return to San Diego will make A-Rod's return to Seattle and his trip to Boston like a tea party. Chargers fans will be ready for this one. With the Chargers in desperate situation and the fact the fans will be ready, I like the Chargers chances. BTW, I am suprised the Giants did not whine about trying to move the game to NY like they did with the Saints game. Oh and another things, Phillip Rivers will be a lot better than Eli Manning.
Pick: Chargers

Jags/Jets: If you are a big fan of defense, this game is for you. This should be low-scoring with the best defense winning this game. I like the Jets chances a little better since they are more experienced not to mention that they are at home. Their offense is a little better than Jacksonville. Pick: Jets

Falcons/Bills: I think Atlanta wins this game. I think that they have enough to beat the Bills. Pick: Falcons

Panthers/Dolphins: This should be a defensive barnburner. I think this will come down to which QB makes more plays and that's where Delhomme gives Carolina the edge. Pick: Panthers

Patriots/Steelers: Steelers fans will be ready for this game. I am sure they want revenge. Problem is that the Patriots are ticked off themselves after playing lousy against Carolina. They won't be in a giving mood for sure. They will definitely be ready. I will go with the Pats because I know Brady will find a way to make more plays than Big Ben. Pick: Patriots

Bengals/Bears: I am not sold on the Bears for one minute. Cincinatti is not Detroit. They got a QB, who knows how to make plays and getting better each week in Carson Palmer. Cincy's offense will produce points. I am not sure if Chicago's offense can for the second straight week. Pick: Cincy

Bucs/Packers: Favre's career will likely end ugly and it's not going to get better with Tampa Bay's defense being on him all day Sunday. TB should win with ease. Pick: Bucs

Browns/Colts: Browns will be good eventually, but they are nowhere near close to the Colts level. Browns are learning how to walk while the Colts are ready to take the next step to championship. Plus with the Colts at home, I can't see them losing to Cleveland. I think this is the week Peyton comes up big. Pick: Colts

Raiders/Eagles: Philly should handle Oakland pretty good. Oakland is on a cross-country trip so the Raiders could struggle right off the bat. Then the Eagles D will kill Kerry Collins as usual. Pick: Eagles

Titans/Rams: Rams should do well since their offense flourish when they are at home and they are going up against an inexperienced Titans offense. Pick: Titans

Cowboys/49ers: I will go with the Niners as my upset pick. I really like what that team is doing under Mike Nolan. This year's team is night and day compare to last year. I think the Niners have it in them to beat Dallas at home. Pick: Niners

Cardinals/Seahawks: Big game for Denny Green's team. They can't afford to go 0-3 and be in a hole in the NFC West. With that said, Kurt Warner has been struggling and the lack of running game is going to hurt the Cards. I think the Seahawks find a way to win this game. Pick: Seahawks

Chiefs/Broncos: KC's defense has been the big reason why they are 2-0. I think that defense will be good enough to make Jake Plummer struggle. I think KC is the better team over Denver. Pick: Chiefs

Yeah, the Pats played a horrible game against Carolina, but Carolina didn't impress me. I always pick Miami at home in September.

Vikings/Falcons: The good news is that the Vikings are playing at a Dome where they can run their offense and do well. With that said, I just think Atlantas has better defense and I just think Vick is going to have his way with the Vikings defense. Pick: Falcons

Bills/Saints: I think the Saints will do well in their first home game at San Antonio. I just think the fans will provide the adreanaline that the Saints need. Saints will make an impression. Pick: Saints

Broncos/Jags: Denver is making a cross-country trip and I don't see how Jake does well against a great defense like the Jags. Pick: Jags

Lions/Bucs: Bucs Defense continus to be excellent as they had their way with Harrington. Pick: Bucs

Texans/Bengals: Carr contnues to struggle while Palmer continues to excel. Pick: Bengals

Colts/Titans: Colts should have their way with the Titans. Pick: Colts

Chargers/Patriots: Patriots never lose at Gillette Stadium and I don't see the Chargers ending that trend. Pick: Patriots

Seahawks/Redskins: I don't see Hasselbeck stepping up against a good D like the Skins. Pick: Redskins

Rams/Giants: I think the Giants are more of a complete team than the Rams. Giants defense will have their way with Bulger. Pick: Giants

Jets/Ravens: I think Jets have enough to beat the Ravens. Ravens offense is simply pathetic. Bollinger has enough to beat them. Pick: Jets

Cowboys/Raiders: I think Bledsoe will do great against the Raiders D. Pick: Cowboys

Eagles/Chiefs: I don't see the fans at Arrowhead affecting the Eagles here. Eagles are just too good to lose to KC. Pick: Chiefs

Niners/Cardinals: The people at Mexico City will be subjected to a snoozefest and lousy football. Niners are a little better though. The way the Cards have played, I will go with the Niners. Pick: Niners

Packers/Panthers: Delhomme should have a good day against the Packers D. Pick: Panthers

645
10-01-2005, 03:26 AM
Buffalo over New Orleans: Saints are not playing well and Buffalo has a pritty good defence.

Jacksonville over Denver: I think the Jags are going to feast on the mistake-prone QB that Plumber is.

Tampa Bay Over Detroit: Tampa is looking good this year and Detroit should give them much troble.

Cincinnati Over Houston: Palmer is the real deal and I don't think Carr and Houston can keep up with him.

Indianapolis over Tennessee: McNair has played will but the Indianapolis D hasn't given up much at all.

New England Over San Diego: Chargers are a good team but they are not no New England.

Washington over Seattle: Tuff one. So I'll with the home team.

N.Y.Giants over St. Louis: Another. So why not again.

Baltimore Over N.Y. Jets: Baltimore's D should finaly have a good game.

Oakland over Dallas: Another tuff one. So Stick with the home team.

Atlanta Over Minnesota: Culpepper should be tuff on them but I think Atlanta can still pull it out.

Philadelphia over Kansas City: Good matchup but Philly is playing better right now.

San Francisco over Arizona: who Cures?

Carolina over Green Bay: I was reading in the USA Todays Sports weekly. In there Fantasy update it says...

BRETT FAVRE
Not even worth thinking about if you lose points for interceptions.

Well then that make me think. Mybe the Packers are in for another long game.

Ravens/Lions: This should be a yawner. This should end with a low scoring game. This game will likely be won by the kickers from the looks of it. Harrington has been horrible and Anthony Wright has not made fans forget about Kyle Boiller. I think the Lions will somehow pull this one out. I like their offense a little better than the Ravens offense. Pick: Lions

Bears/Browns: Another yawner. I think the Browns got a shot to win this game. They are at home and their offense is a little better than the Bears offense. The offense makes a difference in this contest. Pick: Browns

Dolphins/Bills: Bills made a QB change as they will go with Kelly Holcomb. I think they were better off going with J.P. Losman. Let him learn at the job and let him learn to win games. It's not like Buffalo is going to be a playoff team with Holcomb. I think Miami's Defense will have a good day against Holcomb and Gus should do enough to give the Phins the win. Pick: Dolphins

Patriots/Falcons: Should be a great game. It will be fun to see Vick go up against the Pats defense. Look for the Pats to do a lot of blitzing against Vick. The Pats rarely lose two in a row and they always do well after a bad loss. Pick: Patriots

Saints/Packers: This is a good opportunity for the Pack to win their first game. You never know what you are getting out of the Saints each week. I have a good feeling the Packers offense flourish against the Saints D. Pick: Packers

Seahawks/Rams: The Rams have owned the Seahawks in recent years and I don't see how this will be any different. Plus, the Rams always do well at home. Pick: Rams

Bucs/Jets: I don't care who is starting at Jets QB. Bucs defense will find a way to stop any of the Jets QBs out there. I don't see Vinny faring any better. Pick: Bucs

Titans/Texans: This is a great opportunity for the Texans to win this one. Titans Defense is a trainwreck. This is a good opportunity for David Carr to do really well. Pick: Texans

Colts/Niners: Colts defense will have a field day against Alex Smith and Peyton Manning and the offense should do well against the Colts Defense. Pick: Colts

Panthers/Cardinals: Carolina's defense will give McCown a hard time. Cards D hasn't been that great all season so look for Delhomme to do really well against them. Pick: Panthers

Eagles/Cowboys: I think McNabb and the Eagles offense will be too much for the Cowboys. Pick: Eagles

Redskins/Broncos: Should be a great game. Both teams have suprised me so far. I did not think Washington and Denver would have great records by this time right now. Washington has found ways to win ugly and Denver has looked good after a lousy opener. Gotta go with the Broncos here though. I like Denver's offense a little bit better especially when they are at home. Pick: Broncos

Bengals/Jaguars: Another great game and this one will be on ESPN Sunday night. Football fans should watch this one. It will be fun to see how Carson Palmer does against a great Jaguars defense. Cincinatti has looked good so far and I don't see how their run ends Sunday. I think they got enough firepower on offense and defense to win this game. Pick: Bengals

Steelers/Chargers: Chargers offense looks like they are back on track especially Drew Brees. With that said, look for the Steelers to do well against the Chargers D. Their three-some running backs should lead the way. Pick: Steelers

Man I have been sucking with picks all season. I hope this is the week that I do well.

Vikings/Bears: I think the Vikings are going to have a hard time in this game and it has nothing to do with the latest controversy. I just think Kyle Orton will have success against the Vikings defense. Considering how bad the OL has been all year for the Purple, I think the Bears D will have a field day against Daunte and the OL. Plus, the Vikings always struggle at Chicago. Pick: Bears

Falcons/Saints: I think Vick or Schaub should do well against the Saints awful defense and Falcons D should handle Aaron Brooks well. Saints are horrible. Pick: Falcons

Panthers/Lions: Still not sold on Joey Harrington and Carolina's D should make Harrington skittish for this contest. Good thing Carolina did not draft Harrington as the #1 pick several years ago as they pick Julius Peppers over him. I thought it was a stupid move when it first happened, but now this looks good on them. Pick: Panthers

Bengals/Titans: Carson Palmer should do well against the Titans defense and that will be the difference. Pick: Bengals

Browns/Ravens: Ravens Defense has been awful along with the offense. That team looks like they are about to quit on Brian Billick IMO. Ravens are just lost as the Vikings. I think the Browns will find a way to win this game. Pick: Browns

Jaguars/Steelers: This will be a great game. I think the Steelers will find a way to win this game. I like their offense a little better than the Jaguars offense. Plus it's a home game. Pick: Steelers

Dolphins/Bucs: It should be fun seeing couple of Auburn running backs in Ronnie Brown and Cadilliac Williams (if he is playing). I think the Bucs bounce back and win this game. I think their defense will do well against Gus Freotte. Pick: Bucs

Giants/Cowboys: This is the week the Giants finally get exposed. I think the Cowboys defense will befuddled Eli Manning and that Giants offnese. Drew Bledsoe should be good enough to beat the Giants defense. Pick: Cowboys

Redskins/Chiefs: I think the Redskins D should do well against Trent Green and Brunell should be good enough to do well against the Chiefs defense. Pick: Redskins

Pats/Broncos: Denver has really played well this season. I thought they would be awful, but their defense has been fantastic and Plummer has been making plays. It will be interesting how they do against a great team at home. Gotta go with the Pats. They just find ways to win to my chagrin. Pick: Pats

Jets/Bills: Jets find a way to win ugly. I think their defense will be the key here. They will win the game here more than Vinny does. That defense should force Holcomb to make a lot of mistakes. Pick: Jets

Chargers/Raiders: Chargers should do well against the Raiders Defense. Brees should have a great game. Pick: Chargers

Texans/Seahawks: Seahawks in a blowout. Texans stink. Pick: Seahawks

Rams/Colts: Monday night yawner. Colts in a blowout. Pick: Colts

With Durango slow this week at posting this and the Chiefs-Dolphins game moved up to Tommorow night. I give a helping hand so we can all get next weeks picks posted.

Alright, Durango, James and Myself had the most right last week. So that's 2 more points to carry over with 4 points from weeks past for 8 points for the most right next week.

Now everyone pick the Colts to win on Monday night. So everyone picking last week gets a +1.

Packers/Vikings: Two teams have stunk so far, but it's always great when both teams play each other. I know the buzz has not been there because of the problems both teams has had, but come gametime, whatever happeend so far will be forgotten for three hours. I don't know what to make of this game. The way the Vikings have played all year, I just have zero confidence with them right now. I think Favre will find a way to beat the Vikings defense and that will be the difference. Pick: Packers

Chiefs/Dolphins: I think Miami's defense will have success against Trent Green and Gus should be good enough to do well agains the Chiefs D. Pick: Dolphins

Lions/Browns: Lions have been awful and I doubt Jeff Garcia will make a difference at this point. I think Cleveland is good enough to beat Detroit. Pick: Browns

Colts/Texans: This is a no-brainer Pick: Colts

Saints/Rams: Saints have been awful with the exception of their emotional season opening win. I think the Rams might be good enough to beat the Saints. Pick: Rams

Steelers/Bengals: I am really looking forward to watching this game. Probably the best matchup of the year so far. Bengals have played great overall and their offense is a machine. Their defense is pretty darn good. I have a good feeling on Cincy. I think they are going to come out and make a statement. Pick: Bengals

Chargers/Eagles: That's a great game too. Chargers has rebounded pretty well. With that said, to make a cross-country trip and play the Eagles is going to be tough. I just thikn the Eagles will be ready to go at their turf. Pick: Eagles

Niners/Redskins: Can you say snoozefest? I think Washington's defense will give Alex Smith a hard time. Pick: Redskins

Cowboys/Seahawks: Pretty darn good game. Both teams are playing well. I will go with Dallas since their defense is better than Seattle and I think Bledsoe could do well against Seattle's D. Pick: Cowboys

Ravens/Bears: Bears will wiin 6-3. Both offense stinks and I am not going to go crazy on the Ravens after one win. I think Chicago's defense wills the Bears a win at Soldier Field. Pick: Bears

Bills/Raiders: Raiders just stink right now. Pick: Bills

Broncos/Giants: I like Denver a lot better than the Giants. Denver's Defense is underrated. The ex-Browns have helped Denver big time. I think Jake Plummer will have a good day against the Giants D and Eli Manning will continue to struggle against great defensive teams. Denver will give Eli a hard time. Pick: Broncos

Titans/Cardinals: Cardinals have done a little better with McCown, but they are just not very good. I don't see how things are getting better. I thikn the Titans are good enough to beat the Cards: Pick: Titans

Jets/Falcons: Falcons in a rout. Atlanta's D will be all over Vinny in this game. Pick: Falcons

Durango,

Reading the Rules. Odd day games get 2 points just like Monday and Thursday games gets.

So should the Kansas City/Miami game count for two becouse although it was scheduled for Sunday. It was played on Friday and isn't that what counts?

Durango53
10-24-2005, 11:23 PM
Huh I guess that has never been adressed.........

I guess that is a odd night game although it wasnt on TV at all :(

So everyone let me know what you think. Ya or Nay.

I give it a ya even though I was wrong. :(

maybe we could start the hurricane clause. i checked it and PP and I would still be tied for the lead so the 8 points wouldn't get distributed out, so no huge swing in points that way. the question is, do you go by the regular schedule or the date it was moved to :D "thether is nobler in thy own mind to say nay, or yay?"

•Monday night Thursday night odd day games 2 points.
Well, you did say Thursday Night games in the first post, so I would say yes, you should could it as an odd night game. Though, it's diffcult. How many of us expected this game to be played on Thursday early last week?

Ok Evan's vote is the go. We count it......

So these people get one more point for the KC Fins game.

Vikings/Panthers: Vikings are coming off a great win, but can they build on it. It's going to be tough. Carolina is pretty darn good especially defensively. Carolina's D will be a lot tougher than Green Bay's D so Daunte will be on his toes. We will see if Daunte and the OL are up to it. I gotta go with Carolina. John Fox always seem to have success against the Vikings offense and the fact the Vikings still stink outdoors is the reason why I am picking the Panthers. Pick: Panthers

Cardinals/Cowboys: Well Arizona got their offense going with Josh McCown at QB and they played well against the Titans last week. Still, I need to see a lot more before I jumped back on the Cards bandwagon. Dallas will not be in a great mood after a terrible loss to Seattle in which they led till they blew the lead. I think the Cowboys will do well at home against the Cards. Pick: Cowboys

Bears/Lions: Bears are looking good right now. They might be the best team in the division by default. Their defense is good and Kyle Orton has been solid. Lions did well with Jeff Garcia at QB, but I think Chicago's D will give Garcia a hard time. I like the Bears chances. Pick: Da Bears

Browns/Texans: Texans still stink. I think Dilfer lights it up against that defense. Pick: Browns

Packers/Bengals: Carson Palmer will salivate against the Packers swiss chesse defense. Pick: Bengals

Jaguars/Rams: Jamie Martin may have had his way against a bad Saints team, but he is not going to get away with it against a very good defensive team in the Jags. Pick: Jaguars

Raiders/Titans: I think the Titans have enough to beat the Raiders. Pick: Titans

Redskins/Giants: Emotions will run high this Sunday for the Giants as they will play with a heavy heart for the late Wellington Mara, who passed away couple of days ago. The fact the game is at home and the fact it will be a very emotional game, I think the Giants will pull it out. Pick: Giants

Chiefs/Chargers: Look for offensive fest between both clubs as both
