I think Joe Mays has hit the wall......
Not pitching for some time and doing well to start off the season it seems that his arm needs some rest. He did have a solid first part of the season but now he cant seem to get to much done.

Joe Mays better throw one more inning and that's it.
He got lucky last inning.
Lecroy for AL Player of the Week. I am not kidding either.

Good to see Joe gone. He was solid.
What's with J.C.? He has a rare 1-2-3 inning. He is pitching great right now.
Let's hope Juan and Joe finish it up here.

The Twins continue to be cooking out there. They won 5 in a row Thursday night as the offense continues to sizzle out there. There is no question that the offense is the big reason why they are hot right now. It was really fun to see guys drive the runners home all night long especially in the eighth inning. This is what I have been dying to see all year long. Let's hope it continues to be this way.
How about Matty Lecroy hitting a three-run HR in the first inning? Matty has 3 HRs this week. For his standards, he should be AL Player of the Week. It's good to see him hitting with some confidence. I know he has been playing the role of a leader lately and he is backing it up. Good for Matty. He has continue to play this way. For better or worse, he needs to lead this team along with Shannon, Jacque, and Joe.
Shannon was awesome last night. 4 hits and made some good catches. Good to see him play well after taking Wednesday night off to rest his body.
Joe Mays did okay. He survived to pitch six good innings. That's the nice thing I can say about him from his performance tonight. He got one more start to prove he belongs in the rotation. Had he blown up last night, I think he would be heading to the pen.
Good to see Juan and Jesse finish the game up.
Twins are now 3.5 games back in the AL Wild Card race and 11.5 games back in the AL Central Race (that race can get interesting in the division).
Great performance overall. Let the good times roll.
