I just got back from seeing them in concert. They are still absolutely fantastic!! I had seen them probably four or six times between 1978-1984, and they still sound as good as they did back then!!

If anyone out there is or was a fan of the group, I'd highly recommend seeing them in concert if you have the opportunity. :)

what songs did they sing? did they do lost in love? :D where was the concert?

They sang most of their big hits. Lost In Love. Two Less Lonely People. Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You). Even The Nights Are Better. The One That You Love. Making Love Out of Nothing At All (gotta love Jim Steinman songs!). Can't remember what else, but I've been waking up singing Air Supply songs for the past four days.

The concert was at Westbury Music Fair out here on Long Island. I think they'll be back next year.

That's just my opinion. That only counts for me. Obviously a lot of other people like them a lot. To each their own :thumbsup:

Air Supply is an Australian duo that wrote lots of wonderful yet sappy love songs and songs about broken hearts. They were popular in the late 70's-early 80's. Besides the lyrics being so gut wrenching, the music is beautiful and they do some great harmonies.

They are just a duo? I always thought they were a three or four person band. Eh, what do I know.

I saw then ther 2 years ago, a friend had gotten free tickets from work and at first we were embarrassed to even be there. we were up close to like the 4 or 5th row. once the concert started we were up out of our seats singing. the best part of there music is that you can easily sing along with it.

They have back up musicians, but it's really just the two of them (Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock) that write most of the songs and sing them.
