what do you do with OLD PICTURES you find?

so i'm trying to clear out some clutter... buried beneath a pile of STUFF, i found a few boxes of old photos.... of people in my past..... bringing up alot of memories and alot of old feelings.... i feel like i was just in a time-travel machine :eek: ....... i have no idea what i'm gonna do with all these pictures.... certain people i'm not sure i'll ever see again but then who knows..... other pictures have TONS of memories and i'm not sure i wanna let them go... but then maybe i should....


question: what do you do with old photos? do you keep them? some, all, or none? which do you keep? and do you keep pictures of ex boyfriends/girlfriends... former friends... highschool friends...??

I've always kept all my old photos.I'll look at them occasionally and remember the events fondly.

Maybe someday,I'll put those in a album or something.

but seriously...I would put them in an album labeled like...lost memories or something of that nature...it's always good to keep stuff like that so that, in your old years you can look back and remember when memory loss is kicking in :)

You can't throw out your memories! Besides, I really believe that discarding old photos is bad luck. Even if they're in a box in a corner of the closet, you know that they're still there if you ever want to peruse them.

You absolutley can not throw them out, Cynthia. Ten years from now you'll be in a melancholy mood one day, and you'll pull out that old box of photos. Friends from high school that have dropped off the face of the earth. Relatives long gone. An old love who crushed your heart after you worshipped the ground he walked on. And you will smile. Yes, you will definitely smile.

You must keeps these forgotten memories tangible.

i dont think i have ever thrown out a photograph in my life but where they are now i have no idea thank god for digital cameras they will always be in the comp...

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS keep them, especially like if you said, you'll never see them again, then the pictures and the memories are all you have. Why would want to throw away memories?

I get rid of most old friends and EX picures. Just junk around the house that I get rid of. But old pictures of family and such I scan them to have them on the computer and use then as screen savers and such.
