Lew wins AL Player of the Week

Well Big Matty did not win the AL Player of the Week, but at least a Twin is the AL Player of the Week. I was so happy to hear that Lew won it. He deserved it. He has really played great ever since he got benched by Gardy at Seattle. Someone light a fire in Lew and Lew was determined to prove Gardy wrong. His performance at Chicago and then against the Mariners spoke for itself. Lew could have brooded and pouted about being benched and yelled by the manager, but he channeled his anger by being productive.

I am really proud of Lew. I hope he keeps this up.

Now here's hoping Gardy can somehow light a fire in Justin Morneau's butt.
