Bad call runner running through a stop sign and could have got thrown out by 15 feet but the guy wanted to argue so he let the runner go and game tied up and the scorer said RBI Double!!!!
Man tough break for the Sox kind of the way it has been going could this mean a catch up for the Twins?!?!?!?
Extra innings!!!!!!!

That was a pretty wild play, bad call, but Konerko needs to catch that relay and get the guy at home

A great game again for the Twins and Sox pitchers. Silva has the have the tough luck award of the year this year....
This is the kind of game you expect out of these two teams. Great pitching and defense and not much for offense. Fun games and even funner when your team comes out on top...

close play, but i think his body knocked it foul. you had to see a top down view of it to really judge it. sox ended up winning the game so it didnt matter.

Effing Crain. :Pissed:
Jesse did his job. Unfortunately, the White Sox got lot of calls by the umps in this entire series. Blum should have been out by a mile at third. A monkey could have figured out that he was out. To rub salt in the wounds, Blum tried to act like Bruce Bowen and try to kick L-Rod in the stomach. Real classy. I wish Crain would hit the next Sux batter in the head just for that. It should happen. This was as gutless as Torii Hunter knocking down Jamie Burke.

I am sorry if my take will offend some people, but you know what. That's how I feel.
This was a very dissapointing loss. No ifs, ands, or buts. This was not a great outcome and I did not like how this game ended. It was a joke. Look I could live with losing to the White Sox, but the tenth inning was affected by the umpire. I have no idea how Blum was called safe. He was out IMO. I looked at the replay seven or eight times and I could have swore L-Rod made the tag with his leg on the base. I am 100% positive that it was safe. A monkey could have figured that out. I thought that call was a complete joke. It's a damn shame the umpire has to play a role in this game.
If you ask me, the umpiring crew was horrible in this series. It seemed the White Sox got all the calls like the strikes and etc. Their starters had a huge strike zone in this series while the Twins starters had to earn their strikes. Then you got this garbage today to affect the outcome. The umpires should be ashamed of themselves.
White Sox could not make it a series without doing something stupid. That leg kick by Blum was Bruce Bowen-like. He used his leg to kick L-Rod in the stomach. WTF was that? Was that the Sox way to show that they retailiated with the Torii Hunter knockdown to Jamie Burke? If it was, it was pathetic. Maybe Blum could use that kick at Joe Mauer. He should have had the guts to do that. I wish Crain would have hit one of the Sox batters in the head after this gutless display by Blum. You can always count on the White Sox to provide trouble. It's too bad Gardy was sick because you know not only would he have argue the call, but he would have his player take care of business.
How good are the White Sox? How good are they that they had to rely on the umps to bail them out? They did not impress me in this series or last week. Yeah their pitchers did great, but Sean Douglass and other stiffs has had success against the Twins hitters all year. Heck even Randy Johnson can shut them out so it's not big deal. When the White Sox play the Angels, Yankees, and Red Sox, they are going to be so exposed that it's not going to be funny. They aint' that good. White Sox hitters did crap in this series. For a so-called powerful lineup that they have, they looked hopeless against the Twins pitching. What's going to happen when they face Boston's pitching or any other good team's pitching. They haven't proven they can beat anyone good and if they need the umps help to beat the Twins, then how good they really are.
Why didn't Scott Ulleger argue that call by Blum is beyond me? You know Gardy would have race the mound with that ridiculous call. Gardenhire apparently had the flu in the middle of the game so he had to sit in the dugout.
Carlos was superb today with the fact that his strike zone was not as big as Garland's. He was the better pitcher today.
I had no idea WTF Michael Ryan was thinking hesitating when he ran. You never hestitate when you run to the next base. That type of stuff you learn at little leagues.
This game was not as great as Tuesday's game. I thought it was boring.
It's dissapointing that it ended this way and it was even dissapointing that there was no retailation after Blum's Bruce Bowen-style like kick at Luis Rodriguez's stomach. There has to be a reprecussion next time both teams meet each other. Blum shouldn't have gotten away with it.
Twins got nothing to hang their heads at. They will be okay. It will be different the next time they play at Chicago for sure.
The better team lost.

Did you even see that play? If you think Blum was out at 3rd you are insane.
To the other Twins fans that saw the play....what is your opinion, was he safe or out?

You damn right I saw that play, Vince. I saw the game on MLB.TV. Now granted I watch the game on a computer where it can be a blur and confusing, but I saw the motions and all like 15 times yesterday night. I watched this game overnight. I am pretty sure that it was safe. The fans at the Dome showed their displeasure by booing about the call. As for the other Twins fans at this board, they can't give you an answer since the game was not even televised at Minneapolis. John Gordon, who does the PBP on the Twins radio, was flabbergasted about the call.

He was safe, it wasn't even that close. Luis caught it and just swiped the bag, but Blum slid, then pulled his foot back to dodge it, then slid in there. I have no idea where you got the idea of Blum trying to kick him, I don't think either of his legs even left the ground all the way.

Blum used his leg to aim at Rodriguez's stomach. It was a leg kick. I didn't think that was necessary IMO.
It wasn't that close? C'mon! Why would the fans boo the call if it wasn't that close. Why the hell would I be outraged for if it wasn't that close. I never would post anything for the hell out of it or for the sake of attention. Twins radio PBP man John Gordon thought he was out.

I have no idea where you are getting the leg kick from, maybe I missed something.
Of course the fans are going to boo a close call that didn't go in favor of their team, in extra innings, vs one of the biggest rivals. Regardless of if it was the correct call or not.

I saw that one clearly. Blum used that leg kick to try to "get out of the way" I think.
Fans are not going to boo for the hell out of it especially in Minnesota where they sit in their hands.
